The fall/winter fashion season arrived last week in Toronto - appropriate, since it still felt like winter outside and inside the World MasterCard Fashion Week tents.
Canadian designers came together downtown to show their collections for the upcoming season, and it seemed like winter was still on everyone’s minds - from the outerwear that appeared on runway after runway to the cold air-flushed makeup looks.
“This season, everything was very ‘fresh’ - you could feel that crispness in the clothing,” says Talia Brown, a Toronto-based stylist who attended the week’s shows (and worked on the Laura Siegel show.) “The clothes really spoke in volumes of the weather.”
