Kate Moss’s much-awaited Playboy cover has been released and, unsurprisingly, they went for a nostalgic look for their 60th anniversary January/February issue.

The supermodel poses in a black bunny suit with French cuffs, a bow tie collar and large pom-pom tail - much like the uniforms “Playboy Bunny” servers wore in the brand’s chain of nightclubs in the ‘60s.

Moss’ blond locks are styled into retro wavy curls under floppy black ears, while the makeup look is youthful with shimmery gold and pale pink swept across her lids and lips.

Inside her 18-page editorial, shot by fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, Moss is seen topless (though partially obscured) wearing bunny ears and a black mask. The model, who turns 40 in January, has appeared nude many times over her impressive 25-year career.

Playboy founder Hugh Hefner's son Cooper broke the news of Moss’s cover via Twitter in September after months of rumours.

"This is a massive global brand. You need a global icon in order to celebrate that - that was the impetus,” Cooper told The Los Angeles Times.
