Eyewear and makeup looks require careful consideration of facial shapes and contours. And since applying makeup with eyewear can present added challenges, here's a selection of tutorials showing you some great ideas for glasses-friendly makeup looks.

From Head to Toe

Remember, "false lashes and glasses don't really work out" (unless you're going for that dirty windscreen look) this tutorial reminds us.

For blogger Jen Kae, complexion is key, as that's what most people will see, which means plenty of foundation, except for where your glasses hit the bridge of your nose. She then focuses on the eyes, and finishes the look with some red lip gloss.

Ruby Golani

This Aussie beauty blogger focuses on filling out her eyebrows, by adding a matte shadow in the same direction as the hair growth, and sealing in the product by using a brow-gel.

She also has a great tip, using a lighter foundation around the eyes, to help counteract the shadows cast by your frames. White eyeliner also helps make the eyes look bigger.

Steph Busta

Busta creates this golden vanilla eye look with a dark red lip to complement a pair of thick black frames. It's a darker look, which is perfect for winter, and also adds a little metallic glamour to your outfit for the holiday party season.
