The Danish-Peruvian supermodel has worked with luggage label Kipling on a new line of bags.

Forty-four-year-old Helena Christensen continues to flex her creative muscles. After spending the 1990s as one of the world's biggest supermodels alongside the likes of Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, Christensen started exploring her talent for photography and gained a solid reputation as a star behind the camera as well as in front of it.

In fact it's her photographic work that kickstarted this latest collaboration with Kipling. Set to hit stores in September, the 11-piece collection was apparently inspired by Christensen's photography collection, and is based around a spring floral theme. Finishes are said to include classic tan leather and lace prints, but the full images are being kept under wraps until closer to the launch date.

Still working as a model (she recently appeared looking svelte in Reebok's EasyTone ads) Christensen also has an ongoing collaboration with German lingerie brand Triumph, which kicked off last September. Belgium-based bag brand Kipling was founded by three friends in Antwerp in 1987.
