For women, the price of love is at least $3,150, according to a new British survey.

The average woman will date about 24 men and spend about $130 per date before finding Mr. Right, according to UKDating.com, which polled 2,173 of its members.

Though men appear to still be paying the bill for the actual date, women tend to spend more time and money preparing for the big night, the survey said.

Women spend money on things like hair, tanning, new clothes, gifts and public transit.

"Although you cannot put the price on true love, it seems you can certainly put a price on finding it," a UKDating.com spokesman told the Daily Mail newspaper.

The survey found 25% of women will go on just one date before deciding the man isn't the one. Thirty-five percent give the man two chances and 16% will wait to make a decision on the prospective love interest until after the third date.
