Examine the bottles of Enfamil A+ Ready-to-Feed Infant Formula to ensure that the security seal is intact and has not been altered.

The warning was issued by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency after some bottles of the formula were found with the tamper-proof seal broken and blue tape applied in its place.

The CFIA says "these bottles were found to contain water and some formula residue instead of infant formula."

Three complaints were reported in Brampton and Mississauga.

The agency said "Walmart immediately removed the product from sale in a number of stores in the Halton and Peel regions of Toronto and did not find any additional product that had been altered."

CFIA says there have been no confirmed illnesses associated with the consumption of the formula and that it is investigating.
