Supermodel Kate Upton said she’d love to go to prom with a teen who made a YouTube video asking her to the dance.
Upton, 20, surprised Jake Davidson when she phoned to accept his offer while he was being interviewed on the Today show Wednesday morning.
"This just got so much better now that you're on the phone. I'm telling you it will be a great night, great evening. I could even get the curfew extended hopefully by my parents, maybe," the 17-year-old Los Angeles high school student told her.
"I hope you'd be interested if your schedule is free, and what time should I pick you up if you are interested?"
She said: "I definitely have to check schedules, but you seem like so much fun and if everything works out, I'd love to go with you."
Davidson posted the quirky YouTube video Saturday and it had nearly 200,000 views as of Wednesday morning. He asks if he can call Upton "Katie" and tells her that they can "ride around all night long - until 11, that's my curfew."
"You like sports, I like sports," he says in the video. "You like fine dining, I like fine dining. You're on the cover of Sports Illustrated. I read Sports Illustrated."
Upton said she loved the video.
"It was so hilarious and so creative. Thank you so much for doing that, I really appreciate it."
